ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC22 - Week 46

Welcome to Week 46 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week I'm working on Dark NEUTRALS as Angela suggested.  Here's a sneak peek, for now.

SUNDAY - I missed my usual Sunday morning Zoom with Knittingsuek, as I had a Celebration of Life to attend.  It's been two years since my friend JoJo's death, but you-know-what got in the way of an earlier event.  :o((

From there, I went to a birthday party for The Junior Quilter:

It's hard to believe that she's FIVE (and still wearing the socks that I bought at SAFF in 2019!)  Rainbow, of course:

MONDAY - I started my day with a few minutes of studio time...

Before heading to work and I only managed time for a quick game of Wordle during lunch:

Artist, Elaine O'Neil was our speaker at Quilt Guild this evening:

She talked us through her process and showed some of the hand dyed fabrics she uses and had some of her books and calendars available for purchase:

My bee mate Cheryl B. brought this "in-between" applique quilt for Show and Tell...

Along with her 4th or 5th Blooming 9-Patch:

Congratulations to bee mate Karen W. on winning the Volunteer Raffle Quilt:

TUESDAY - Work allowed a few minutes break between corporate orders and I used the time for a quick game of Wordle:

Once home, I cooked.  All afternoon!  Stuffed Cabbage Casserole is SUCH a process, but SO delicious:

WEDNESDAY - My day off...

Was spent catching up on paperwork, doing laundry, and making a grocery run prior to my weekly Zoom session with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:

After dinner, I headed back up to the studio to play with paint and paper.  Many of the scraps came compliments of Needleb:

THURSDAY - My day started with a few minutes in the studio trimming the page I worked on in my Board Book Journal last night:

Wonder of wonders, there was time for Wordle...

As well as Quordle today:

After dinner, I went up to work on the next page of my Altered Book Journal:

Once that was done, I made use of my new Dark Neutral pin cushion...

But...

You will have to wait for next week to see what else I've been up to!  :P

Hint! Hint!  The TABLE SCRAPS Challenge Link Party is next weekend.  :o))

FRIDAY - Before work I got a bright photo of my newly completed journal spread:

At work, a wild card word proved to be the winner for today's Wordle:

Alas, I wasn't as lucky with today's Quordle:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.  I'm going to continue my efforts with working through this stack of pieces and parts:

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!

  1. It is funny to me that I used "snark" before I tried "snarl" on that same Wordle game.

  11. I think the Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Casserole sounds sooooo good! I guessed THREE before I got to THERE Thursday's Wordle. Otherwise i would've gotten it in the same amount as you. GLYPH was a pretty goofy word!

  12. You always amaze me with how much you are able to accomplish, but I'm really jealous now of the quilting zoom calls! I've had only work zooms for going on three years now. :) Really, I'm happy for you and anyone who gets to connect like that! And I'm happy I might finally be able to do your Table Scraps challenge!!!
