Welcome to Week 44 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!! This week might have been a joyful shade of normal, but I was scheduled to work more hours than I generally do. Not a problem. More $$ for crafty purchases! :o))
Here's how the week ambled along...
THURSDAY - It took me until lunchtime to get today's Wordle:
Date "night" with my DH!! We went to see Top Gun Maverick at the old theater downtown. Thank you for corporate events! It was a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
SUNDAY - The week began with a Zoom call to Knittingsuek:
After telling her all about Quilt Retreat, I caught up on some household chores and did a little bit of arting:
MONDAY - Mail Call Monday
Happy Halloween:
TUESDAY - Another work day. You know that means Wordle...
And Dark NEUTRALS for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge (even though there's no "official" color this month.
WEDNESDAY - Work. And Wordle:
I was glad to get home in time to Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
After dinner, I trimmed up the latest page in my Board Book Journal. Continuing the beach scene from the opposite page was a fun challenge:
We were busy enough that it took me ALL DAY to finish the day's Quordle! The first two words made me think there was NO WAY that I was going to win, but once the phone stopped its incessant ringing, I found success:
After my evening walk, I ruminated over the binding options for this little scrap quilt:
FRIDAY - Before work I cut some little brown squares for an idea I saw on the internet:
Wordle took a while...
But I really thought Quordle would defeat me today. Not so:
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. I plan to do some more digging in my BROWN scrap basket this afternoon...
But first, another Zoom session with Knittingsuek:
I have plans for tomorrow so our regular schedule had to be adjusted. Right now I'm headed off to work, but here's what happened afterwards:
Date "night" with my DH!! We went to see Top Gun Maverick at the old theater downtown. Thank you for corporate events! It was a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
Until next time...
