Did you do any PINK scrap sewing this week, Joyful???
Maybe!! Let's see...
SUNDAY - The morning began with my weekly Zoom session with Knittingsuek...
And ended with a walk with DH, who was kind enough to point out the fact that our mini double azalea was beginning to bloom... in bright PINK:
MONDAY - Mail Call Monday
TUESDAY - After work on Tuesday I met these three friends for tea:
WEDNESDAY - After work I raced home to make a cup of tea and get ready for my weekly Zoom call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
For the second time, if you want to get technical! I got confused and colored in the wrong section before I received Rachel's BOM email from her Stitched In Color Pas De Deux event. It's not too late for YOU to join in, as she just opened the fast track!!
THURSDAY - ZoomBEE is only a foul weather event now that Spring is here, therefore, when I found myself with a little extra time before work this morning, I headed up to the studio to press and sew these PINK scraps:
FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT was canceled today. Just as well, since I had to work. No sewing happened when I got home, but I have another PINK blossom to share...
The very first of my reblooming azalea buds (that I hadn't spotted yet) opened today!
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. She must still be on her morning beach walk, as the party hasn't started yet. I'll keep an eye on it and add the link later. In the meantime, enjoy another PINK bloom from one of my favorite trees on our property:
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
Love those pretty flowers. They restore my soul! And cute pinwheels, too. Is that for your Table Scraps?
ReplyDeleteLove your azaleas! After walking Gracie this morning, I checked on mine and it is still only a bunch of buds. I'm sure it'll bloom after "Pink Month". Haha! Good for you for having tea with so many friends too!
ReplyDeletePretty pink blooms. Hope you get a little stitching time this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty spring flowers. I haven't spotted any around here yet, but it has been way too cold I think. Most years I wait for Mother's Day week to buy any flowers for the porch, but the perennials begin to appear by late April most years.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers! I have one pink hyacinth blooming, everything else is purple plus yellow daffies.
ReplyDeletePretty azaleas, Joy! I love that block of pink scraps you pulled out. I wonder what it will become!
ReplyDeleteazaleas... love those, and pink magnolia trees. Not here in Colorado. I was so late getting to the link party but am there now... happy we got to zoom this week
ReplyDeletesuck pretty pinks for Springtime
ReplyDeleteI never wear pink but I do love it in the yard--you have beautiful blooms!
ReplyDeletePink pinwheels and pink blossoms, so pretty! Unlike your other reader, I do like to wear pink from time to time, but generally I'm a blue girl.
ReplyDeleteWhat pink is happening in your studio? Hmmmm??? Like seeing all the blooming pink too. Like LeeAnna there is no pink showing up here. And now, snow in the forecast! YUCK!
ReplyDeleteYou've definitely got pink going on this month. Love the flowers! Happy stitching this week, hopefully work doesn't keep you too tied up.
ReplyDeletePink isn't my favorite color either, but it always looks so pretty in scrappy quilts. Love your azaleas! Did you have azaleas at your last house? I've been enjoying the ones on TV at the Masters golf tournament. We have two young azaleas with a few blooms, so I'll look forward to those getting bigger!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your pink spring flowers, as well as your pink scrap piece. My magnolia is losing its leaves, getting ready for winter here.
ReplyDeleteLove to see those happy zoom call folks! Meanwhile, you did very well with finding lots of lovely pinks to include in this lovely post, Joy! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms. Sorry your Zoomknit was canceled. You had fun with Pink I see. Table scraps? I haven't started on mine. Yikes! ;^)
ReplyDeletePink is not my favourite either, but I don't dislike the colour in flowers :D Ours is a twin of yours. You did well with the pink scrap piece, Joy!

Your cheeks are pink, lips are pinker and the azalea is pinkest. And that t-shirt is one hot pink. I wonder what would this page would look like if pink WAS your favorite color :-D
