SUNDAY - A trip back to reality. (More about that in another post.) Suffice it to say, I spent MOST of the day in the car.
MONDAY - Knit Group held a few surprises...
1. Our friend, Tracy, was out of school on Spring Break, so was able to join us for today's meeting. Hooray!!
2. My current knitting project has been reduced to a ball of yarn.
3. I had Show and Tell from last weekend's quilt class:
TUESDAY - Visiting with a friend was followed by a (much needed) hair appointment, which preceded the meeting of my monthly Quilt Bee meeting.
WEDNESDAY - As usual, was meant to be my stay-at-home day. How did that work out for me? Well...
I got a bit of housework done, along with some laundry and a trip
to the grocery store. Mr. Basket and I went out to dinner with DS2.
THURSDAY - You know the routine, if you've been visiting very often this winter. I was at a friend's all day today. Upon my return home, I... made dinner, but there wasn't time for much else. :o((
FRIDAY - Again, my weekly visit with a friend. After my time was up, I... Took a trip to Chapel Hill to pick up DS2. We met Mr. Basket for dinner at our favorite pizza place. YUM!!!
I am SEW excited!!!
Why, Joyful???
Angela made good on her promise to announce April's Color of the Month BEFORE the first. No foolin'... the NEW color is...
MULTICOLORED!!!
"In honor of April Fool's day tomorrow, we are going to try to take a whack at our multicolor fabric." You know the ones! Maybe yours are rainbow on black or rainbow on white. Perhaps, your multicolored fabrics only have a few colors represented. That's perfectly OK. It's time to use them ALL!!! (Thanks for the photo, Angela!!)
SATURDAY - Hooray!!! It's LINK PARTY day over at So Scrappy. Follow me...
I'm also joining Cynthia for Oh! Scrap.
Until next time...
Get Scrappy!!!
Sounds like a busy week again for you! I can't wait to see the link up next week to see what happens with all that multicolored fabrics. Me.. I need to finish 2 red blossoms and 3 red friendship stars before moving on.
ReplyDeleteLove your show and tell quilt! That's right. Use all the scraps! Can't wait to see what you come up with next week.
ReplyDeleteWOW that Bargello quilt will turn a gorgeous quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat wave motion in the bargello quilt is so dramatic.
ReplyDeleteLove that Bargello! You are busy as always :)
ReplyDeleteYour bargello is lovely! I am also very excited for multi-colored April. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a hair appointment; that's always a bright spot in my week :) Love that bargello!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very busy week.
ReplyDeleteHope you find lots of time in the new week to work on your multi colored scraps. Yes, we all have bins of those :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
Your Bargello quilt is great. I was pleasantly surprised by the multi-coloured announcement. It will be interesting to see what people come up with, I'll need to take a good look at my scraps/stash/projects and hope to find something multi.
ReplyDeleteMulti colored fabrics can be a challenge to work with. I am sure you will do just fine and the bargello looks terrific.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you keep rolling with such a busy life. I admit that I don't love being out and abut and find that very draining.
ReplyDeleteYou have been so busy but still manage to make beautiful things. Thanks for the inspiration. I need it. :)
