Mail Call Monday - The (Quilty) Adoption...

Welcome to another edition of Mail Call Monday!!

(This post was delayed due to my work schedule.  Sorry!)

When Cynthia at Quilting is more fun than Housework offered a Quilty Orphan Adoption, I thought it would be a good time to search the projects and stash to see if there were things that I could offer. You see, it fit right in with my current decluttering efforts around our home.  Win-win!!

It turned out that there were several items that I was willing to list.  I gathered them up, composed a blog post, and linked up with Cynthia's event.  I felt very proud of myself...

Until...

I felt it necessary to visit the other participating bloggers adoption offerings!!

Well, you KNOW what happened, don't you???

I placed some bids.

The GOOD news is...

Not very many and of the bids placed, only TWO new items came to live with me!!

I won a BEAUTIFUL Baltimore Album block from Mary Huey who blogs at Quilting through Rose-colored Trifocals that I intend to incorporate into my niece's wedding quilt:

I also won a pattern, intended for my friend Jean.  It turns out that Jean found templates, so I have a THIS new-to-me pattern from Summer who blogs at The Easy Quilter:

Second Chance Orphan Adoption:  (Drawing now CLOSED!!)

If anyone is interested in THIS Thimbleberries packet, please let me know:

It's filled with everything from scraps to FQs and it's yours for the cost of postage!!  (Which should be $6.80 for Priority service within the US.) The bundle was popular with my bidders and I attempted to contact my winner (via email and in this post), but my winner didn't respond back.

After a week, I contacted a NEW winner, but haven't heard back from her either.  :o((

SEW...

Now is YOUR chance!!  Please make sure to leave the BEST email address to contact you.

I will draw again on Monday, April 11, 2016.

Until next time...

  3. The Baltimore Album block is gorgeous. I can just see it, playing beautifully with the other blocks in your niece wedding quilt. Good call. The pattern looks very interesting too. (Thanks but no, I don't wish to be in the draw for the fabric.) Enjoy the new projects. ;^)
