ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC17 - Week 11

Welcome to Week 11 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  Each week I hope for more sewing time than in the previous one.  This time, I didn't bother to hope for MORE.  I knew that I would need to be satisfied with ANY sewing time at all.

But, WHY, Joyful???

SUNDAY - I finished my Sew Some Love post, read all of the new RSC linked posts, and tackled Mt. Washmore.

MONDAY - My week has been turned upside down.  I'm staying with a friend this week.

TUESDAY - Staying with a friend doesn't leave much time for RSC sewing.  :o((

WEDNESDAY - Especially when I'm not getting home until dinner time!  Upon my arrival, I head straight to the kitchen.

THURSDAY - Until today!

Today, I was able to get out early.  When I got home, I headed straight for the sewing room.  Had some trouble focusing, so I did what I often do...

I made ONE Crumb Block:

LOOK!!  There's RED in there.  :o))

FRIDAY - Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!  If you've been following my blog for a while, you've seen this before.  If you are relatively new, THIS is hanging in my kitchen during the month of March:

SATURDAY - Happy Worldwide Quilting Day!!

It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  It's also the day for my monthly Quilt Bee meeting. That doesn't bode well for any actual sewing time, especially since I need to stop by the grocery store on the way home.  Oh, well, it is always fun to spend time with friends (and people at my house insist on eating EVERY day!!)

I was an early bird this morning.  (I know, I was shocked, too!!  Angela's new linky wasn't posted yet.  I checked back and linked up right before leaving for Quilt Bee.  Thanks, Angela!

Until next time...
Get Scrappy!!!

  2. Your St. Patrick's Day mini is a fun one! I'm glad you at least got to make a crumb block this week - sometimes just something small makes you feel like you accomplished somthing!

  4. Hope things get back to "normal" soon. Yes, there is red in there. It counts for sure. Have a great weekend!

  5. Busy weeks make it challenging to get some quality sewing time in but you gave it a shot. Crumb blocks leave one with such a feeling of accomplishment - using up lots of little bits to make something usable. Happy St. Paddy's Day and Worldwide Quilting Day.

  6. Thanks for having a quilted shamrock for all of us Irish. And the block works for red and green.
