Welcome to the information page for the 2022 TABLE SCRAPS Challenge here at The Joyful Quilter!! Anyone else have fabric scraps coming out their ears? Not literally, mind you, but if you are like me - There are fabrics scraps EVERYWHERE!!! I have decided to continue to challenge myself to make a little something with them each month. It's SEW much fun!

The RULES...
1. For 2022, I will be offering a MONTHLY THEME OR TECHNIQUE to help inspire/inform your work. I will give you each month's prompt at the end of the previous month's LINK PARTY post. (January 2022's prompt is listed in December 2021's TABLE SCRAPS post HERE and I will also update the list below so that you can just check back, if you miss a link-up.)
2. We will continue WORKING WITH SCRAPS from our cutting table (hence the name of the challenge.)
3. Your ENTRIES MAY INCLUDE small items such as basket, bags, pillows, and pin cushions (in addition to the runners/toppers/ mug rugs, etc. included in the 2021 Challenge.)
4. While Angela offers color suggestions through her Rainbow Scrap Challenge, you are always welcome to sew with whatever scraps you choose.

ReplyDeleteHum… a double challenge. Sounds fun. I probably won’t make a table runner every month but definitely some months. Thanks for continuing. How did you figure that red was the color for the month? Angela showed a block in green and then mentioned red. Seems confusing to me. I’ll check back later with her to see what she says.
ReplyDeleteI'm in. I did 11 of 12 months in 2021... not too shabby! I great way to get a little finish to help boost the mood with 'I actually accomplished a finish!'. Thanks for hosting.... red snowmen should be interesting....
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to getting back to my machine and my scraps. I too, never saw the actual RED announcement. But I know you and Angela are in tune, so I'm going with RED!
