Let's see how that goes...
SUNDAY - Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!! I got a super sweet surprise. DS2 returned from NJ yesterday. My baby's back home after nearly four months! It seems that the entire (extended) family was in on the surprise. Grr! How could they keep that BIG of a secret from me???
SEW...
Not a lot of scrappy quilting going on yesterday or today. I am totally OK with that! :o))
MONDAY - I released the next edition of Mini Monday. Here's a preview, in case you missed my very Dark GREEN project:
TUESDAY - Today, I released a new Tidy Up Tuesday post. Here is a glimpse of the project:
WEDNESDAY - Another week, another Quarantine Chronicles post. I released that earlier this evening and then headed up to sew.
Tonight, I finished off the last of this 3000 yard cone of thread:
THURSDAY - Last week, I was a half hour early for the meeting, so I redid my Gallery Wire for Dark GREEN month. The RSC Color of the Month may not be obvious, but it is in each of the following quilts. Here's what the collection looks like now...
One of my minis from Quilter's Play Group, my latest art piece, and a Blogger swap (that I believe is) from Chantal @ At the Corner of Scraps and Quilts:
Another two of mine and a Ravelry swap from Funkyknitter:
FRIDAY - This morning, I released a new Design Floor Friday post. In it, you will see more about the making of my latest art quilt.
Today, I'm sharing bits of Dark or Sage GREEN for the RSC in a preview of Sunday's Q.4 challenge:
Come back then for the BIG reveal.
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!! You will find the links at Angela's So Scrappy blog. There is sure to be plenty of Dark GREEN scrap projects on display. I'm off to visit them, now. Join me when you are able.
Until next time...
SCRAP safely!!!
Pretty greens in the mini monday photo. Bits of green scattered all around in various places. What a great mothers day gift you got.
ReplyDeleteI really like your green mini, so glad your “baby” is home. Are you still up for your challenge of a green scrap basket. I am going to do a second one! Join in if you wish, and we will share next Saturday, the23rd!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on seeing your son. Not sure when I'll get to see our youngest son again, since our trips got cancelled due to Covid.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have your son come home and surprise you! I always love seeing what's on yor gallery wall. You have a neat variety of minis!
ReplyDeleteLol. I always look at pictures before reading the paragraph and "Oh Look! It's my mini quilt!" and then I read the shoot out. (thank you for that). It made my day to see my mini up on the wire. Thanks. You have quite a collection of wonderful mini quilts this week. Fun to look at. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteYour gallery wire is a great little quilt show for the housebound! Reminds me to swap something new onto my kitchen gallery rod.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the gallery wire quilt show! I love seeing what you have on display. It must be wonderful to have your son home again, congratulations.
ReplyDeleteYou manage to fit so much into a week! It's always nice when the kiddos come home, even if it's just for a bit. Hope this week has been as good.
