So fun. I'd really love a thread catcher, I've never had one. And I love all bright colors. Thank you so much.

Deciding on what to make this time was SEW easy!!

Not only had Turid indicated what she would like for her prize, she also shares my favorite color (rainbow!) and my love of all things scrappy.  All I had to do was dig through my scrap stash to find something that spoke to me:

The rainbow brights came from my friend Maureen and have been in my scrap stash for several years, just waiting for the right project.  The spotty, dotty background came in a recent scrap infusion from my friend Dee Dee:

I was so excited to be working on this prize project that I forgot to take any additional process photos.  :o((

The lining also came from Dee Dee's recent scrap bag which she had been collecting since the beginning of the year.

The next day, a garden tour showed the same blooming Iris...

One last photo before heading to the post office to get this out in the mail.  Who knows how long it will take to make its journey across the sea and all the way to Norway:

Here's hoping the prize arrives safely!  I also hope that I chose a pleasing variety of prints for Turid's new thread catcher.
