Welcome to another edition of Wonderful Wednesday!!! I'm here to share the effects of the internet on a not-SEW-recent prize that I won on a (local) blog contest. My Quilt Group's blog editor occasionally asks for help identifying photos from our meetings. I check the blog often. I have been the lucky winner.
Twice, already! :o))
Here is the Charm Pack in question:
I received it at the December (2019) Quilt Guild meeting. Time passed and I made many trips into BlogLand. Then one day in early January, I found it!
What did you find, Joyful???
Why, THE perfect pattern for the Charm Pack, of course.
Vicki at Vicki's Crafts and Quilting made a quilt...
... Based on a quilt that Cynthia at Quilting is more fun than Housework had posted some time back:
Cynthia had use a pattern from Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs had designed several years before for Moda Bakeshop. The pattern is still available HERE, but the photo didn't show up for me.
I was SEW excited that I began laying my fabric squares out right away! You can see that I'm missing the border sections, but I'm sure you get the idea of what this little quilt will become:
Time passed...
This year's H2H20 theme was... Charmed, I'm sure! LOL!! Who knew??? I supposed the stars have aligned to tell me something.
The borders were cut and added, in a strange and convoluted way, but they were a fun challenge to puzzle out:
The quilt top was finally completed on 7/30/20...
Several months later...
This little quilt was added to my Fall 2020 (Ravelry) UFO Club List and between client quilts, I loaded...
... And will soon be delivered. Boy, did it feel SEW good to use up scrap batting, backing, AND binding on this little quilt:
Thank you to Vicki, Cynthia, and of course Cheryl (and Sarah, too!) Each of you inspire me. Your inspiration lit a fire in me and brought this little quilt to life. This made for a great way to start a new decade of quilting fun. (Too bad that it took MONTHS to finish.)
Disclaimer:
Vicki's Charming Friday Finish apparently took quilt a while, too. Whew! Now, I don't feel SEW bad about the months it took to get my quilt completed. :o))
Update:
Upon closer inspection... That was Vicki's SECOND quilt from an identical charm pack! (She won FOUR of them.)
... Bound...

Special thanks to my photographer, DS2, who captured (most of) the now-blooming Mexican Sunflowers (tree marigold) perennial, the quilt, and me, all in the same frame:
Such a soothing baby quilt and I love the design.
