The Hedgehog T-Quilt, that's what! I took it from a stack of sashing strips...
... And a pile of cornerstones...
... To a mock-up of a quilt top (in two colorways.)
The horizontal sashing strips were assembled:
Then, the rows were sewn:
Finally, it was time to assemble the top...
... Upsize the one small corner square and apply embellishments...
... And add the borders:
Hooray!!! I present...
Special thanks to my quilt holder (and cheerleader), Needleb and her trusty photographer. And now...
Time to get this thing loaded!!!
Until next time...
Make every minute count!!!
Disclaimer: This process MAY have taken more than a single day to complete, but I really will be loading the quilt later today.
Looks good, Girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting to the finished flimsy stage. It's a very fun quilt.
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm glad to know that took more than one day! That makes me feel better for not being a speedy piecer. I was afraid it was like those DIY "ads" on TV where they show you how to totally renovate a room in 5 minutes when you know it took longer in real life. I'm curious: what do you use to stabilize the T shirts?
ReplyDeleteCongrats and what a great quilt! Enjoy the quilting.
