Let's see how my week panned out...
SUNDAY - During Weekly Morning Art Zoom, I worked on the DIAGONAL prompt for ICAD with a mix of paper and a scrap of selvage fabric from Britt...
Then circled back to Day 15 of Messy May because I finally found an image of some dirt for the EXCAVATION prompt:
MONDAY - Art Day
At this week's Library Crawl over on Get Messy, I added a portrait into my journal from a class by artist Jane Davenport...
The face sparked a memory so I took an explore through last year's journals and found another iteration from the same class in an entry from April 2025:
In the late afternoon I met with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color for our Weekly Zoom Call:
TUESDAY - Stay at Home Day
Some AQUA (teal and turquoise) scrap sewing filled a portion of my morning:
This afternoon, I visited with my Tuesday Explorers friends at Get Messy. This month's "Playing in the Garden" lesson with Johanna Clough was today's focus:
WEDNESDAY - Art Day
I was the only one who showed up for Midweek Meetup so I assembled the background for the BEATLES' SONG prompt for ICAD...
And watched a few of the Make Create Express Taster Sessions.
Later...
I worked on embellishing this abstract watercolor piece to complement the flower painting on the opposite side of the page shared in last week's Wednesday entry:
Once that was finished, I circled back to the Index Card a Day challenge and completed the lettering on that Hey Jude card shown above.
THURSDAY - Quilt/Art Day
Weekly Quilt Group met at Ella's today. It's closer to my house so after lunch I headed to Britt's via Zoom...
Scouring a children's dictionary provided the following photo for the GAMEBOARD prompt for ICAD, but it begged for a background. An old Southern Living magazine provided just the right image to complete the scene:
FRIDAY - Knit Group
We met at Beth's house, but Tracy didn't get the message so there were only three of us:
Once home and fed, I headed upstairs for Get Messy's Friday Friends Open Studio. I started on the BACKGAMMON prompt for ICAD and during Deandra's Art Zoom I marked off the triangles and painted them. The game pieces were cut out and applied later:
As I enjoyed time with my Weekly Evening Art Zoom friends. I also mapped out my HARMONY card...

Along with a quick collage for the LIGHT & SHADOW prompt for ICAD:
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will stop by for a visit Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. In case you've got the following question circling your brain...
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!

Love your Light and Shadow card! The aqua mini quilt is fun, too, with the way you used the strip sets - and that pop of pink. It will be a fun finish!
