Quilty Orphan Adoption - Spring 2018

Welcome to the Spring 2018 edition of the Quilty Orphan Adoption!!  The event is hosted by Cynthia at Quilting is more fun than Housework and YOU can join in the Freebie Fun between now and Saturday.  Find the Link-Up HERE.  Visit the links to see if there are items that strike your fancy!!

Quilting is more fun than Housework

You will notice that each participant has their own set of guidelines and time limits.  For the purposes of this event, I am placing NO RESTRICTIONS for use on any of my items!  My own Quilty Orphan Adoption will be OPEN through Friday, March 23rd.  I will contact the "Adopted Parent" on Saturday, March 24th.

DISCLAIMER:  My quilty items are all FREE to a new home!!  Our current budget is tighter than it might otherwise be, so I will cover the packaging materials, but I need to ask the you cover the postage cost for your "Little Bundle of Joy."   I apologize for the inconvenience.

Here are the offerings that I alluded to in THIS post...

Item ONE:

This is a half-yard cut of quilt shop quality playing card fabric.

Item TWO:

Pictured above are TWO unbound, quilted reversible Snowman/ Llama placemats.  Approximate size is 18" x 13" and the extra Llama fabric is 9.5" x WOF.  There is a narrow bit of the partially quilted Llama, as well.

You can get another look HERE by scrolling to Friday's entry.

THREE:

Olfa Chenille Cutter, original price $15.99, package is open.  The cutter was only used once.  (I found a duplicate in my studio!)

In order to qualify for any of these quilty items, please leave a comment indicating which item you would like to adopt.  I feel good about my selections and look forward to seeing which item YOU would like to rehome!!

NOTICE:  If I don't hear back by Wednesday, March 28th, it may be necessary to cancel the Adoption and choose another new parent for my item.

Until next time...

Clean that fabric closet!!!

  1. There's no need to apologize. I think it is only fair that the new owner should pay for postage. She would pay for it if she had bought the orphan in an online store, right?
Love that card fabric. Count me in on that one, please. Good luck with the others. ;^)
