You can find the instructions for Part 6 at this LINK.  My first step was to start cutting the pieces and parts:

I cut for Clue 5 AND Clue 6 before going to the sewing machine:

Units for Clue 5, previously ignored due to elf sewing:

My units for Clue 6, sewn up with the units from Clue 4:

Not a lot of either, but that's OK.  It's enough to say that I am participating.

But, WAIT!!!

I also did some "double sewing" on Needleb's geese units:

For completing that service (and the trimming), I will be the recipient of that beautiful pile of Bonus HSTs shown below:

As I was working on this post, I found that Bonnie had posted a surprise BONUS for us, only a day after releasing Part 6!!!

  1. You have been very busy! I've never attempted a Bonnie Mystery, nor will I , but I do enjoy seeing them out in blogland. As efficient as you are, I guess we'll be seeing the completed top soon?!?

  3. That last bunch of clues felt like an ambush, didn't it? (And there I was, stuck half a mile from my sewing machine ...) I'm looking forward to getting some blocks done and catching up with you!

  6. The rapid fire release was quite fun! I have got all of my blocks pieced but not started with the sashing. It was a lot to do in very short period of time. :)

  7. I'm still chugging away on Clue 3. I'm really having problems getting them to come out right! Thankfully, I'm a little more than half done. I'm trying your "15 minutes a day in the quilting room" suggestion and spent the time last night pulling apart about 8 failed units. With a little investigation, I was able to figure out what the problem was, retrimmed everything to fit and they are all sitting by my machine to sew up during tonight's 15 minute time. I was really impressed how much I got done in that short time (OK, it was really about 20 minutes, but you get the idea)...
